Ken Mozley, co-owner, of The Carpet Store has been in the floor covering business since the age of eighteen where he started as an installer. After many years of installing and working in the sales field he decided that he wanted the opportunity of having a business of his own. With a wife and two kids it was definitely going to be a life changing experience. Now 30 years later he is still living his dream and has many years to come. Family is very important to him and knowing that he is surrounded by that at work and at home truly holds a special place in his heart. As a start up company The Carpet Store has grown to be one of Northeast #1 flooring covering businesses around.
Bobby Mosley, co-owner, of The Carpet Store has a background of installation as well as years of experience in sales. He has worked with Ken for years which allows them to be great partners in business. Bobby specializes in being one on one with The Carpet Store’s clientale that may need assistance for any repairs, information regarding flooring products, etc. Making every customer feel that they have complete satisfaction after a job is the reason why The Carpet Store continues to have a growing business.
Eric Teague, sales manager, of The Carpet Store started at the age of 16 in the flooring business. Eric is the cousin of Ken Mozley and is nephew of Bobby Mosley. He has had experience with installing and currently handles retail and commercial. Eric takes on many commercial projects including apartment complexes, hotels, business offices, etc. He coordinates commercial jobs from start to finish and his determination on bid work has enabled him to do many businesses in a timely manor.
Steve Dickie, sales associate, of The Carpet Store started installing flooring at the age of 23 and 23 years later is in sales. With his knowledge of being hands on with the installation process it allows him to relate ever job to his own personal background of experience.
Brooke Mozley, sales associate and interior decorator, of The Carpet Store has been in the business for 8 years. She is the daughter of Ken Mozley. She attended Snead State Community College where she received an associates degree in business and went to UAH for interior decorating. Being able to help people visualize a look that fits their own personal life is the highlight of her job. She is very dedicated to her job and wants people to have the best for their homes as if it were her own. Brooke specializes in designing tiled showers, tubs, backsplashes, color coordination with paint and products, portfolio management for designed proposals, etc. Being personable and developing customer relationships is most important.
Blake Mozley, sales associate, of The Carpet Store has had 13 years of experience in floor covering. Blake is the son of Ken Mozley. He attended UAB on a golf scholarship and is now in sales at The Carpet Store. He specializes in retail, as well as commercial projects. Following up on every job is the key element that makes for repeat business.
